Deep Sea Space Station

This is a near-future science fiction novel about the deep sea, memory and civilization choices. The story takes place from 2041 to 2046, which is not far away from us. Many of the technologies in the book—full-ocean deep manned submersibles, unmanned submersible fleets, and deep-sea drilling systems—are the direction in which China's deep-sea technology is developing. The "Struggle" has arrived at the Mariana Trench, and the "Deep Sea Space Station" project is advancing steadily. Although the "Long Yuan" class scientific research ship is my fiction, its technical parameters are based on the real China's deep sea equipment development plan. The deep-sea ruins in the book are completely fictitious, but the concept it carries—— The protection of the ocean and the expectations of human civilization by a non-human intelligence are real. The ocean is the cradle of life on earth and the regulator of the earth's climate. To protect the ocean is to protect ourselves. The international cooperation frameworks in the book - the concept of "Common Heritage of Mankind", the United Nations Deep Sea Heritage Commission, the Global Convention for the Protection of the Ocean - are idealistic, but they are based on real international legal frameworks and global governance concepts. In the face of global challenges, international cooperation is not an option, but a necessity. A passage from Lin Haitang's speech was the purpose of writing this novel: "The ebb and flow of the tide is the rhythm of the ocean. Giving and receiving is the rhythm of life. Exploration and growth are the rhythm of civilization. Let us follow this rhythm. Let us become part of the tide."
