I Build High-Speed Rail in the Wasteland

On the ruins of a nuclear war, everyone else scavenges for trash and bottle caps, while Lin Chaoyang draws blueprints and repairs railways. When a radiation-mutated beast blocks the way, one armor-piercing round sends it to its grave. When ruined cities make the route too winding, controlled demolitions blast a straight path through. The warlords of the wasteland laugh at him for being crazy. But when the railway is finally finished, they are so furious they spit blood on the spot, because what arrives isn't food or weapons, but a hundred thousand fully armed steel beasts. From then on, the wasteland has a new rule: you don't have to believe in God, but you must believe in General Manager Lin's train schedule.
