Do Not Alter My Ownership

The world was once bound by twelve divine laws set down by the gods:

1. The gods created and saved the world.

2. The mighty gods own every species and every individual.

3. All beastfolk are born into a social class.

4. Those of higher rank may freely control those beneath them through their ownership rights.

5. The right to control others can only be bestowed upon subjects and believers by the gods.

…

12. The gods will be the eternal masters.

The gods imprisoned and enslaved the entire world, binding everyone with divine words so that no one could resist.

Until one day, a gray mouse who had accidentally gained the soul of an alien from another world leaned on a cane and angrily told the mighty gods, “What are you babbling about? You are not allowed to change what I own!”
