Douluo Dalu: Netherworld, Beginning at the Ice God Palace

Lin Xuan brings the “Myriad Worlds Summoning System” with him when he transmigrates to Douluo Dalu, arriving a full ten years before Tang San reaches Shrek Academy. He appears in the Far North, amid the ruins of the Ice God's inheritance temple. Through daily sign-ins, monthly summons, and yearly summons, he quietly builds a formidable force: the “Underworld.”

He possesses three supreme Martial Souls: “Netherworld Burning Heaven,” the sword that cleaves worlds; “Netherworld Divine Tree,” the foundation of creation; and “Netherworld Eyes,” which command space, time, and death. His ranks also include heroes summoned from the world of Kings: the Ice Queen Wang Zhaojun, who has reached the final trial of her divine examination; the sword immortal Li Bai; the Demon-Hunting Bow Jia Luo; the Goddess of War Athena, and others, each extraordinarily powerful.

Over the course of ten years, he secretly brings Dugu Bo and his granddaughter, the Ye family of the Nine Heart Begonia, and the core members of the Tianshui, Blazing Fire, and Divine Wind Academies under his control. He transforms their Martial Souls and lifts their bloodline curses. He relocates the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well beneath the temple and helps the Far North's two kings, the Ice Emperor and Snow Emperor, survive their tribulations. Before Tang San's story even begins, the Underworld has quietly surpassed Spirit Hall in strength, yet remains hidden in an independent pocket world, without interfering in the continent's public affairs.

This is the story of someone who becomes the “mastermind behind the scenes” before the plot even begins, destined to oppose the future chosen one, yet bound by a complicated connection to Spirit Hall's saintess, Qian Renxue. The shadow of the Netherworld Underworld has already begun to blanket the entire continent.
