Daming: I Am the World

"Da Ming: I am the World" tells the story of the time traveler Zhu Qizhen who woke up in the first month of the 14th year of Orthodoxy and found that he was only five months away from the Tumu Fort Incident in history. He faced not only foreign enemies, but also strangulation from three parties including his mother, the Empress Dowager Sun, the civil cabinet and the Minister of War, Yu Qian - these people were conspiring to send him to death in the name of "imperial expedition". Zhu Qizhen counterattacked with cold and rational means: he supported Wang Zhen, the chief of etiquette, to take control of the East Factory, and used Bi Maokang, a genius from the Ministry of Industry, to secretly develop flintlock guns and Folan cannons, and established a private armed "pure army"; at the same time, he conquered Wala Ye first and became the "Minister of Beiting" to build a grassland intelligence network. After Yu Qian failed to launch the "Qingjun Side", he was imprisoned until he had a mental breakdown and finally surrendered. Zhu Qizhen did not name an heir before his death, leaving only the institutional legacy of tripartite checks and balances. Five hundred years later, a historian commented: "The orthodox system is not Zhu's system, but the system of the world."
