Out of Control, Step by Step

Zhou Huaixu is her boyfriend’s older brother, an untouchable, almost sacred presence. Shen Zhao wants his money and his looks, not him, yet she keeps falling deeper, losing control step by step. He alone gets to trample her, to toy with her as if she were in the palm of his hand. Everyone mocks Shen Zhao for overestimating herself, having no shame, and trying to climb into a higher circle. Later, someone sees the man pin Shen Zhao against a corner, his eyes bloodshot, kneeling on one knee. “Zhao’er, marry me. I’m begging you.”
