The Human Factor: Lanchester's Last Battle

In the near future, the military AI "God of War" can accurately predict all human behaviors. A special forces "Winter Solstice Brigade" was used as an experimental sample and put into no man's land to be "tested". Twelve people: Team Leader Jiang Su, Sniper Tie Mu, Demoman Old Ghost, Communications Corps Program, Scout Crow, Poet, Military Doctor, Pathfinder Mouse, Pretender Mirror, Mathematician Thunder, Mechanic Greyhound, and the youngest baby. They are locked onto satellites and drones, and every step is counted to death. But they did something that AI couldn't calculate. The rat still explores the road after breaking his leg and rolls his body into the minefield to save everyone; the old ghost blows up twelve armored vehicles with a fuse that is 0.3 Seconds too late; the program sends out the "I love you" virus code before dying; the crow sacrifices to save the team leader; the military doctor is still saving people after being shot four times; the Thunder God leaves behind the formula E=mc²+ε; the greyhound dies after avenging the "emerald flower"; the poet rushes into the enemy group; Ironwood walks to the grassland; the mirror adopts the enemy's children; the baby puts down the gun to the enemy of the same age. Nine men died in the battle. Jiang Su, the mirror, and the baby survived. Jiang Su suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder and goes to the mountain to worship every winter solstice. The mirror brings its adopted son Xiaobao. Baby left Jiang Su a book full of signatures from his comrades. Many years later, Jiang Su's granddaughter Xiaoyue took over the book, remembered the names, and passed on the story. That system wrote in the log: Human parameter overflow, model failure. It is still asking: What exactly is a human being?
