Flattening the Apocalypse, Starting as a Giant

Zhang Ze, a hardcore player of The World of Flesh, returns to the time before the game’s story begins, bringing his game interface with him. When Zhang Ze opens his eyes, he is horrified to find himself in the morgue of an H City funeral home, surrounded by corpses. Even worse, the apocalypse is only half an hour away. When the apocalypse arrives, anyone could become a zombie, players included! Just as Zhang Ze is preparing to accept his fate, a mission appears on his interface. The reward is a genetic serum, along with the hidden reward of giant’s strength. But the mission requires a heart! And he’s in a morgue. Looking at the corpses all around him, Zhang Ze chooses to accept the mission. I want the genetic serum! And I want giant’s strength, too! Zhang Ze’s hundreds of hours of gaming haven’t been for nothing. White steam rises as a giant made of flesh and bone is born from death, its crimson eyes looking down upon the apocalyptic world.
