I Can Smell Criminals, and Now the Police Department Treats Me Like Their Darling

[Standalone stories + no romance] Wen Xi runs a bookstore and spends her days relaxing with tea and books. Then one day, the police find a body in a storm drain across the street. With nothing better to do, she climbs down and sniffs around, finding traces the killer left behind. The killer runs, so she follows the scent and tracks them down. But she never expected more and more people to come asking for her help. The criminal investigation captain calls her a “human sniffer dog.” She feels like hitting him. A junior cop says her “nose is better than a dog's.” She tells him to get out. The medical examiner is the best at putting it: “You have an extraordinary gift, and you're using it to help society.” All she wants is to sell books in peace. But those smells keep creeping into her nose. Anxiety, fear, despair, madness... The living have the smell of the living, and the dead have the smell of the dead. By following all those scents, she somehow turns herself into an unofficial crime-solving consultant for Qinglin City. Fine. It's not like she has anything better to do.
