My Father, the First Emperor

[Farming + slow-paced + ensemble cast + light and soothing style] The vast empire was like a tiny boat tossed about in a storm, utterly lost when facing the future. There were no precedents to follow, and no successors to show the way. The people of Qin were used to feeling their way through murky waters, with no stones ahead to test the depth, inch by inch. On the waters ahead, only my father had ever waded forward. My name is Fusu. My father... is the First Emperor. These are the years when I served as his crown prince. Many people have written about the fall of Qin and how it might have saved itself. I want to talk about... why Qin fell. Neither Qin nor the people of the world were ready for unification. I want to talk about how Qin could have prepared for it. The author has already completed a highly acclaimed novel of over a million words, with peak subscriptions of 28,000: “What Should I Do After the First Emperor Orders My Execution from the Start?” Their nearly two-million-word completed novel, “A Thousand-Year Clan: Rising to Power from Shang Yang's Reforms,” is also a solid read. Give them a try!
