Honghuang: Survival in the Wasteland from the Start, I Become a Sage Through Merit

【No System】 Special forces soldier Chen Xuan is on a mission when the world suddenly spins around him. When he comes to, he has arrived in a primitive world! The people here have no trace of civilization. They live together in caves, without clothes, without fire, without... anything at all! Surviving in a wasteland? Chen Xuan plans to use his survival skills to lead these people in building a civilization. But the moment he drills wood to make fire, a sudden transformation occurs! A streak of golden light suddenly coils around him and gathers on his body! In an instant, he feels an indescribably immense energy welling up inside him! Chen Xuan spreads his hands and stares at the strange golden light appearing in his palms, exclaiming: “Is this... merit?” “So this isn’t the prehistoric primitive wilderness I thought it was. It’s the legendary Primordial World!” Overjoyed, Chen Xuan watches the bonfire blaze and clenches his fists, brimming with confidence: “If making fire earns me merit and raises my cultivation, what about building houses, making clothes, fishing, raising livestock, and planting crops?” “Once I create all these things and spread them among the tribes of humanity, I’ll surely attain sainthood!” And so, under Chen Xuan’s leadership, humanity develops at a rapid pace. When the great calamity arrives! Di Jun and Taiyi: “Wasn’t our demon race the number one race in the Primordial World? Why has humanity become so terrifying? How are we supposed to forge the Witch-Slaying Sword now?” The Twelve Ancestral Witches: “Humanity is so powerful, and its fortune so firmly established. Our witch clan should marry into their people!” The Sages: “We planned to manipulate humanity’s fortune and help our teachings flourish, but where did this Ancestor Xuan come from?” Heavenly Dao Hongjun: “The human path is beyond our control!”
