The Outer Gods Are Out of Service [Lord of the Mysteries]

What's it like to start out as an Old One after being thrown into the world of mysteries? Thanks for asking. I'm hanging out in the stars, writhing, screaming, and sleeping every day. When I wake up, I brawl with my Old One siblings, get beaten by my mom, wonder what Source Matter tastes like, and occasionally lick the Earth through the barrier. Do I have any plans for the future? You bet, brother. I've already landed successfully, and it feels great. My next dream is to become a shopkeeper in Backlund, opening a cafe that's nothing but outrageously expensive coffee, with the owner, the owner's friends, and a dog. Of course, I don't have any friends yet, so I've invited six of Amon's avatars... As for the dog, I'll borrow one from Miss Justice. We're practically coworkers, so surely she won't refuse to let members of the organization help one another. Speaking of organization members, my friend, please let me take a few minutes to introduce our beacon and savior, the great Mr. Fool! He was in the past, he is in the present, and he will be in the future. He is... The Fool, Sleeping Klein [bursts out of the coffin]: Wait! Who's ringing the bell?! Samuel Avesta, formerly known as the High-Dimensional Overseer. An outrageously powerful, fully automated troublemaker, an artist with a screw loose, and a Lovecraftian cuisine enthusiast who approves of everyone. Currently putting on a spectacular performance in Backlund. Klein [wearing a mask of shame]: ...What on earth are you pretending to be?! Samuel [drawing a holy emblem] [holding a black cat aloft]: The dimensional angel serving the Fool. Praise the Fool, the Door! A lighthearted little sweet treat written to torment the character I cherish. The male lead is a mixed-breed Maine Coon with a milk-cow coat, a completely unhinged maniac who hits really hard. He starts out as a High-Dimensional Overseer Old One, half-mad in the early stages and with an unsettlingly robotic air. The story is basically all about Lord of the Mysteries, so let's happily forget Circle of Inevitability. The High-Dimensional Overseer uses the original setting, but since it is only described in broad strokes, I'll expand and modify it. The original work belongs to Cuttlefish; the OOC belongs to me.
