When the bells traveled through thousands of years and echoed in the rubber, when the widow came to the world in the void and fulfilled the "divine gift" fifty years later, the novel finally completed its inquiry: history has never passed, and all living beings are the echo of eternity. The sage does not guard the cauldron, but guards all living beings. And all living beings guarded the sound of the bell.
