America: Rise of the Forever Family

Spring 1861, Virginia. A Chinese from the 21st century, after staying up late to read the last line of civil war historical materials, opened his eyes and found himself lying under an old oak tree. He became the fourth son of the manor, an eighteen-year-old named William Carter. He thought he would get married, have children, grow old, and die in this strange land like ordinary people. But the next year, he found that his wounds healed faster than normal. In the third year, he noticed no change in his appearance. In the fifth year, he sent away his first relative. In the tenth year, he sent away the second one. Twenty years later, he discovered that he would never grow old. One hundred and sixty years later, he was still under that old oak tree. Over the past one hundred and sixty years, his soul has been slowly settling. Just like the wise adage: The more mature the rice, the more its ears hang down. He is not the protagonist of history.
