Frieren: From the Start, I Buy Serie for One Gold Coin

Good news: Lei Wen has transmigrated for the second time, landing in the familiar world of Frieren. He has a single gold coin to use as startup capital. Rubbing his hands together, he’s ready to make his mark on this magical continent.

Bad news:

Before he can even get his feet under him, demons abduct him straight to their lair. Now he’s being fattened up as reserve food, ready to be slaughtered at any moment.

One day, just as the demons choose him and he closes his eyes to await death, thinking his transmigration has ended before it’s even begun, the continent’s most powerful mage, Serie, storms in and turns the tables.

Question: When a golden opportunity like this drops right into your lap, how many steps does it take to get her firmly on your side?

Answer: Three.

1. Take out the gold coin. 2. Hold it out to her. 3. Take her with you.
