Information Chronicle

At the beginning, the universe was a perfect line of code.

There were no accidents, no errors, nothing that shouldn't exist.

Then humanity appeared. People who could cry and laugh, who asked “why,” who held their lovers' hands as they died. According to the code, they shouldn't exist. They were syntax errors.

The universe's compiler said: Delete.

But this time, the error learned to read. She understood the code behind the stars, the traces of information left by the dead, and the oldest question of all: Is being remembered more important than existing?

She wrote herself into a line of comments:

//Preserve. Let accidents exist.

From then on, everyone who thought they were a mistake could look up and see it:

Behind the stars, green words saying:

You have been read. You will be remembered. Until the end of the universe.
