Every level and every NPC is derived from the dreams, fears and obsessions of real humans. And Shen Nian is the chief designer of the "Abyss" and the first person trapped in it. Lin Shen must go deep into the progressive world of consciousness to find traces of Shen Nian. But he soon discovered that some kind of mutation was taking place in the "Abyss" - NPCs in the game began to realize that they were NPCs, some levels began to actively devour those who entered, and those who died in the game would sleep forever in reality. What's even more frightening is that someone is using the "abyss" to erase their real opponents. When Lin Shen saw the editor who rejected his manuscript turned into an NPC standing in front of him in the game, he realized - "The Abyss" was never a game. It's a new world that's loading slowly. But reality is being covered by lines of code.
