Leopard’s Shadow on the Snowy Mountain

Winner of the Outstanding Work Award in Qimao's Fifth Realistic Fiction Writing Contest.

A gentle heroine who studies wildlife meets a rugged, untamed hero.

Li Yuan, a wildlife conservationist, and Haina'er, a former soldier turned travel blogger, join forces to observe the snow leopard, the spirit of the snowy mountains. Together, they embark on a journey to seek the miracles of life. In this land of the gods, all creation shines; bonfires blaze and eagles soar, while snow lotuses thrive alongside life itself. They travel across Xinjiang's mountains, rivers, and grasslands, helping humanity make amends to nature, and finding themselves in nature, too.

“From now on, you protect them, and I'll protect you.”
