The Street-Stall Queen

Du Yuwei is determined to build a better life with her own hard work. After failing to get into college and being denied tuition for a vocational school by her family, she heads out to earn a living, working in a factory by day and running a street stall at night. Hard work brings her a marriage, but it is built on exploitation, so she grits her teeth and divorces. It brings her love, too, but when it stands in the way of her progress, she ruthlessly ends the relationship. At last, hard work rewards her with a business. Facing a rapidly changing market, fierce rivals, and betrayal from a trusted aide, she plans her every move and turns a tiny street stall into a chain of distinctive markets across the country.
