Black Cold Wave

After a class reunion, Cheng Yiying is kidnapped. Her abductor is Gao Qiu, the person everyone at the reunion talked about most. Six months earlier, Gao Qiu killed someone, but he escaped criminal punishment because he suffers from intermittent mental illness. He was confined in a heavily guarded psychiatric hospital, but an accident allowed him to escape. Gao Qiu is not only mentally ill and a murderer, he is also Cheng Yiying’s ex-boyfriend. He refuses to believe he killed anyone, and asks Cheng Yiying to help prove his innocence. But although he wants her help, he will not let her leave. She is imprisoned in a cold, damp room. Gao Qiu gives her just one phone, which she can use only when he is there. With it, Cheng Yiying must overturn a murder case that has already been settled! It seems almost impossible. But to stay safe, she has no choice but to cooperate with Gao Qiu. At the same time, she watches for a chance to escape. Yet as the truth gradually comes to light, Cheng Yiying discovers that the real cage has only just closed around her...
