Toward the Sun

Life is complicated and ever-changing. Whether it is our circumstances or our fate, it rises and falls like mountains and rivers. Be more cautious when the wind is at your back, and more patient when you’re facing headwinds. When you have no choice, make peace with life. Like the protagonist, Chen Ziqi, who has no mother and a father who does not love him, yet still finds a way forward in a poor, remote mountain village. Across three generations, his family changes its fate. Life may have knocked him down a thousand times, but he still treats it like his first love, as he witnesses the transformation of the countryside.
