On the Night I Died Giving Birth, the Reborn Legitimate Daughter Slaughtered the Entire Marquis's Household

[Revenge after being reborn + face-slapping and punishing scumbags + household intrigue] I was the legitimate daughter of a general's family. On the eve of my betrothal to the heir apparent, I was abducted in broad daylight. By the time I was found, my reputation was in tatters. The heir had already broken off the engagement and handed the betrothal jade pendant to my cousin. Just as I was utterly despairing, the young marquis of the He family, He Lanci, made a grand public proposal, claiming he had loved me for years! Flustered and moved, I hurriedly brought my generous dowry and married into the marquis's residence. After our wedding, the young marquis treated me with tenderness and care. But when I was eight months pregnant, I accidentally overheard him talking to someone else.

“The young marquis certainly knows what he's doing. The Prince's residence would never agree to marry a woman whose reputation has been ruined. Only after Xia Jianxi's good name was destroyed could little sister Yuruo marry into the Prince's residence without a hitch!”

“Now that Yuruo has married into the Prince's residence, why should the young marquis keep making sacrifices and marry this soiled woman?”

He Lanci's icy voice rang out. “Her mother's family is richer than any kingdom, and her dowry alone is enough to fill the marquis's residence's coffers. Even so, her whole family still has to be grateful to me. If it weren't for me, what chance would she have had to survive?”

“What about the bastard in her belly? Does the marquis really intend to let it be born?”

“Ridiculous. How could the He family allow such tainted blood to sully our name? It's just a bastard. Bury it somewhere and be done with it!”

I went into premature labor and fought with all my strength to give birth, only for He Lanci to crush my baby's skull right before my eyes. I was buried alive in the cellar, dying with my eyes open. When I opened them again, I was reborn on the very day the bandits abducted me and ruined my reputation!
