After Being Buried Alive in a Snowy Night, I Took the Fake Heiress's Phoenix Fate

[Clear-headed, formidable heroine with a sweet exterior and dark heart + scum male lead, both reborn + punishing scoundrels and face-slapping, sweet romance] The wealthy Sheng family of Longxi falls into ruin. Sheng Jinchu narrowly escapes disaster and seeks refuge with her maternal relatives. As soon as she arrives in the capital, a maid usurps her identity as the Sheng family’s legitimate daughter. Her own mother provides false testimony and has her thrown into prison, using filial piety to threaten her. “I gave you your life. If you dare disobey me, you’re an unfilial rebel!” The maid who stole her identity sneers. “Only when you’re dead can I feel secure as the Sheng family’s legitimate daughter, inherit the family fortune, and marry into the Duke’s manor.” She is beaten with a hundred lashes and tortured and humiliated until she signs a confession. Only as she is dying does Sheng Jinchu learn the maid is no ordinary servant, but her mother’s illegitimate daughter from before marriage! When she opens her eyes again, she is back on the day her mother tried to force her to accept the illegitimate daughter’s impersonation. Sheng Jinchu seizes the chance to expose her in front of everyone. “Since when did Mother give birth to a daughter who works as a maid?” Her mother’s face darkens and she tries to use filial piety to control her, but Sheng Jinchu refuses to yield, no matter what tactics she uses. She takes the matter straight to the authorities and exposes her mother’s hypocritical and vicious true nature!
