After Confessing to the Wrong Powerful Man, She’s Pinned Against the Wall and Kissed

At the company's celebration banquet, Xia Xiyin took advantage of the alcohol and confessed her feelings to Mr. Zhou, the department manager. She got the answer she wanted. But this was not the Mr. Zhou she had in mind. When she woke up sober and saw that the man lying beside her was Zhou Yu'an, the company's owner, she was utterly stunned. “You had the nerve to confess to me in public. Looks like you really do have feelings for me,” Zhou Yu'an said as he tied his necktie. To keep her job, Xia Xiyin forced out a “yes” from her throat. And so the two began dating. What she hadn't expected was that the usually aloof, arrogant Zhou Yu'an was so wonderful to be with in private. He was gentle and considerate, understanding and thoughtful, and he gave her love and respect. Feeling his sincerity, Xia Xiyin began to look forward to a future with him and rely on him. Just as everything seemed perfect, Zhou Yu'an's ex-girlfriend returned. As the saying goes, an ex who actively seeks out their former partner is never a good ex. This green-tea ex-girlfriend came out swinging, doing everything she could to sow discord. Would Xia Xiyin put up with her? Did she think she could steal Xia Xiyin's man? Not a chance! Xia Xiyin didn't need Zhou Yu'an to step in. She confronted the ex head-on and beat her in one round after another, leaving her utterly defeated. “Let me catch you keeping in touch with an ex again, and you'll have me to answer to!” Xia Xiyin scolded Zhou Yu'an fiercely. Seeing how much she cared about him made Zhou Yu'an happy. He swept her into his arms. “Xinyin, what ex? I only have you!”
