The Three-and-a-Half-Year-Old Dark Lucky Star Is Spoiled by a Powerful Family of Beautiful Misfits

They say the Xu family adopted a three-year-old girl named Mumu, supposedly a lucky charm who could make anyone’s wishes come true.

But on Mumu’s first day with the Xu family, their second son was sent to prison. On her second day, their third daughter was beaten on a livestream. On her third day, their fourth son was hit by a car and sent flying.

Only then did the Xu family realize that Mumu’s so-called lucky fate was actually that of the only black koi in the world, one that brought people nothing but misfortune! The Xu family considered Mumu a curse, locked her in the basement, and tried to starve her to death.

Just as the little girl was on the verge of dying, the Li family adopted her. The whole city was in an uproar, and everyone waited to laugh at the Lis for taking in a black koi.

But then...

The eldest brother, an heir, had an accident at the construction site of his new building, and they discovered an oil field! The second brother, an actor, broke his leg saving Mumu and accidentally missed a fatal flight! The third sister, a scientist, had her lab blown up, but ended up synthesizing a new anti-cancer drug! With Mumu’s help, her frail fourth brother regained his health. Her hot-tempered fifth brother, the school bully, became her loyal bodyguard...

With Mumu’s “misfortune” helping them, the Li family’s talented but troubled members flourished! Meanwhile, next door, the Xu family, who claimed to have adopted a real lucky koi, were gradually led to ruin by their supposed good fortune...
