Fatal Devotion

Scene One: Deep in the night, the lights are blazing in the CEO's top-floor office. Through the floor-to-ceiling windows, the entire nightscape of Jing City stretches into view. In front of the high-end desk, a man is squeezed into a corner, gazing devotedly at the woman who has taken over his seat. He doesn't even notice the contracts he signed that night. It isn't until the next day, when his assistant brings him five or six contracts, that he discovers every signature line bears the same name: Su Nanxi!

Scene Two: One evening, in the study, a little boy with delicate, doll-like features, around three years old, sits cross-legged on a wide, high-end solid-wood desk, a laptop beside him. Across from him, a handsome, composed man is holding a video conference with senior executives on the computer.

“Dad, can we talk now? My legs are numb from sitting here.”

The childish voice suddenly rings out, and the report comes to an abrupt halt. The man turns to look at the aggrieved little bundle and can't help laughing. He has kept the little one waiting all evening, and the boy has finally started protesting. Seeing his son pout, the man reaches out and lifts him onto his lap. Everyone is dazzled by the little boy's looks. The boss's son is even more handsome than the boss!
