The Bandit Chancellor

On the surface: [A hard-drinking, lecherous bandit chief x a refined accountant who excels at poetry and painting] In truth: [The sole heir of the legendary Li clan of tricksters, a master of every con x a heartless, deranged, scheming crown prince who never gives up until he gets what he wants] [Two equally matched leads] [A touch of mystery-solving] [Political intrigue] [The fate of the nation] Li Yan, bandit chief of Feilong Stronghold, kidnapped a handsome young official. Taking advantage of his amnesia, she talked him into becoming the stronghold’s second-in-command, convincing him they had been childhood sweethearts who understood each other perfectly. She conned him into joining her gang and fighting the authorities, then lured him onto a boat on the river to play music for her. It all seemed like a blissful, romantic dream, but dark clouds were gathering. He would recover his memories sooner or later. Could she keep deceiving him forever? When all that beauty turned out to be nothing but an illusion, they both plunged into an unfathomable abyss. Li Yan had lost everything after being dragged into a storm for no apparent reason. Shen Hanzhou had recovered his memories, only to discover that someone had taken his place. With everything on the line, they joined forces to set a trap, stepping over their enemies’ corpses as they vowed to take back everything.
