An Immortal's Tribulation

The day Shi Ying ascended to godhood, she met Xie Fuchi, the most hopelessly unserious person in the world.

She loved the springtime scenery and fine wine of the mortal realm, the love and entanglements of worldly life, and telling him all sorts of things she didn’t mean.

One day, she fell ill, and very seriously.

Shi Ying drew her into his arms and heard her mumble a name in a daze: Su Jingchen.

The mortal she had been forced to kill with her own hands.

For the first time, the usually aloof and compassionate god felt a vicious thought take root in his heart. He thought, At least that mortal is dead.

But even after offering her his whole heart, Xie Fuchi still didn’t love him.

For the first time, he understood what jealousy was.

Later, to defy the so-called fate, he turned to the demonic path and fell beyond redemption. He forgot that his name was Shi Ying, and that he had once been called… Su Jingchen.

All he remembered was a stubborn immortal who kept waiting for him to turn back.

The immortal was named Xie Fuchi.

“I will refuse every arrangement fate makes, except you.” A romance-focused story, not a strong female lead.
