Building a City Starts with Summoning College Students

[Infrastructure Building + Farming + Another World + Fourth Calamity] Shen Nanyi, a dedicated and hardworking citizen of the twenty-first century, is accidentally swept into another world. When the System issues a quest requiring her to establish a territory there and develop it into a city with a population of two billion before she can clear the game and return to reality, Shen Nanyi develops a game set in the other world and summons university students from across the country to help develop her territory. But when she sees people who have even forgotten how to solve a simple equation, she falls silent. As expected, they really are university students.

Another World is a fully immersive holographic game that simulates all five senses, and most of its players are university students. Dying in the game means losing the right to play, but players can use their sleeping hours to log in. Time passes at a ratio of 1:3, so one hour online in reality equals three hours in the other world. Thanks to the fully immersive simulation, the other world has become another world for people on Earth, and the metaverse became reality in 2050.

Blurb Two:

“Have you heard? You can earn course credits by mining in the game.”

“No way, seriously!”

In 2050, a holographic online game appeared on the internet. “Register for the game for a chance to win a full bundle of university credits, including comprehensive evaluation points.” In an instant, university students across China went wild!

In recent years, China’s high school advancement rate has soared, and students scoring over 600 on the gaokao are everywhere. The gaokao has reached new heights, astonishing foreigners. After the news that China’s public education system had become fiercely competitive, more reports followed: “China has the world’s highest proportion of university students”; “Someone in China built a rocket at home and successfully launched it”; “In 2052, China won the Nobel Prizes in both Physics and Chemistry.”

After months of undercover investigation, the United Nations finally discovered that the source was a game.
