From the Start, I Became an Insectoid Hatchling

The moment Jouna opens her eyes, she discovers she’s become a larva in an interstellar insect race, and is being greeted with all kinds of laser cannons. The little bug cries, “How scary!”

Eric, the youngest and strongest male insect marshal in the Interstellar Empire, is ordered to cleanse a low-tier insect district. There, he unexpectedly finds an abandoned high-tier insect baby.

The big one and the little one stare each other down.

Then the little bug bursts into tears. “...Hug!” Eric, who doesn’t much care for larvae, goes stiff all over.

“The Marshal has a baby at home. How can we get him to agree to a full-dive livestream?”

Insect citizen A: “Hssss, the baby is just too cute!”

Insect citizen B: “When the baby grows up, I’m definitely marrying them!”

They wait and wait, only to receive an invitation to Marshal Eric’s engagement party.

All the insect citizens: “???”

Eric, the person involved: “Hmph. Jouna can only be mine.”
