My Gear Has Too Much Personality

Lin Nuo opens his eyes to find that he has transmigrated into the body of an executioner in a medieval world.

This world has elves, demons, dwarves, monsters, and powerful professionals capable of hunting dragons.

To survive, Lin Nuo plans to find a quiet corner and live a peaceful life.

Unexpectedly, he awakens an equipment compendium: every item he equips grants him a special passive ability.

Equip the [Beheading Sword] to gain the green passive [Precise Strike]: beheading damage +30%. Master the art of beheading, greatly increasing the chance of taking off a head with one swing.

Equip the [Nightwalker Cloak] to gain the blue passive [Night's Protection]: stealth +5. At night and in the shadows, you become difficult to notice, and your presence is greatly reduced.

…

Even stranger, it seems these pieces of equipment have personalities of their own...

[You execute a criminal with a single sword strike. The Beheading Sword is delighted with your technique. Its blade has been nourished, sharpness +5.]

[You secretly ambush and kill dozens of people. The Faceless One is greatly impressed by your treachery and decides to abandon its incompetent owner and join you.]

…

Many years later, Lin Nuo, the most impartial judge in the Empire's Sword of Royal Authority, glances at the accusation in his hand:

“They say I'm a follower of an evil god, the reincarnation of an abyssal demon? Guards, throw these dukes in prison. I'll interrogate them myself!”
