Yellow Horse Howls in the North Wind

Based on official histories such as "Book of Jin" and "Zizhi Tongjian", this book vividly tells the fifty-one-year history of the Western Jin Dynasty from 265 AD when Sima Yan replaced Wei and established Jin Dynasty to 316 AD when Emperor Sima Ye of Jin Min surrendered to Han and Zhao general Liu Yao. Western Jin Dynasty: Unification and Collapse The story begins with Sima Yan destroying Wu and briefly unifying the country. But the good times did not last long. After the death of Emperor Wu of Jin, the "Eight Kings Rebellion" that lasted for sixteen years soon broke out due to the exclusive power of the clan and the power of the vassal kings. This civil strife severely consumed the national power, leading to the rise of the Five Hus and Sixteen Kingdoms in the north, and the Western Jin Dynasty eventually perished amidst internal and external troubles. In modern and easy-to-understand vernacular, using Shuizhuo Wen method, I analyzed and described in detail the events and history that occurred in these 51 years.
