Fully Automatic Apocalypse

When a self-writing book lets you deliver express delivery. Leon accepted the task: deliver a roll of old sheepskin to the royal capital. He thought this was another whim of his adoptive father, until the sheepskin spread out automatically in front of him, and the ink appeared out of thin air - what it wrote was not a prophecy, but the reality that was about to happen. Now, the book has chosen its own plot: the Holy See wants to destroy it, the mage wants to dissect it, and the mysterious organization is chasing it all the way. And its only "instruction" was that Lyon must arrive on time. In order to survive, Leon had to pull together a group of temporary teammates with different agendas: an elf who wanted to steal the book, a priest whose faith was wavering, and a wild jazz cat (jazz magnate?)... They all have their own purposes, but this willful book is obviously writing a larger ending - a story about how the world is being rewritten.
