Douluo Dalu: My Martial Soul Is Xiao Sizi, and I Summon the Xuanwu Gate

Lu Duzhou transmigrated to Douluo and had always dreamed of awakening a powerful Martial Soul. But when he saw that his Martial Soul was actually an adorable little toddler who sucked on her fingers, he nearly lost faith in his path. “Widdle hubby, where am I?” After carefully asking her questions, Lu Duzhou learned that the little girl was Princess Jinyang, Li Mingda, the little Xizi of the Tang Dynasty. He remembered how this clever, kind princess had died young in history. Now that she had become his Martial Soul, at least she could go on living in a different way. “Forget it. I won’t fight for the throne. I’ll just raise the kid!” But to his surprise, his first soul skill summoned the Xuanwu Gate. Through the Xuanwu Gate, he could enter the Tang imperial palace and fight Li Shimin for custody of little Xizi. Anyone from the Tang Dynasty who came to Douluo Dalu through the Xuanwu Gate would become his Soul Spirit. When they learned they could become virtually immortal, the famous Tang generals flocked to join him. Cheng Yaojin: “To hell with the Heaven Dou and Star Luo empires! From now on, there can only be one Tang Empire on this continent!” Qin Qiong: “I was gravely ill and on the verge of death, but now I can fight on the battlefield again. Why should I fear even slaying a god?!” Li Shimin: “Come here, Xiaozhou. It’s getting cold. Put on this dragon robe!” Years later, Lu Duzhou sat on the dragon throne, little Xizi still as adorable as ever in his arms, and sighed: “I only meant to raise a kid. How did I end up uniting Douluo?”
