The Days After the King of Hell Blocked Me

Sorry, but there are no immortals drifting about in celestial splendor here. Immortals cannot make a living among mortals.

The world has only a few cultivators who call themselves immortals. They practice a few spells simply to make a better living. Put a sword to their throats, and they will kneel and beg for mercy just the same!

After nine miserable lives, Ye Jingqiu had his name struck off by the King of Hell in this one, leaving him outside the cycle of reincarnation.

So he studied, practiced martial arts, went into business, raised an army, and fought for dominion over the world.

As the years dragged on, his beloved and his friends and family died one by one, and he lost sight of who he was. In the end, his own kin turned against him, and the entire court rebelled. He could have easily crushed them, but instead he gave it all up, returned to the mortal world, and vanquished demons. In a single day, he attained enlightenment and returned to the underworld. When his own Book of Life and Death was reduced to ashes, Ye Jingqiu became an immortal in a single step.
