Honghuang: Governing the Immortal Court with Zeal from the Start

Also known as “King Father of the East Is Reborn, and Wants Me to Rule the Immortal Court?” and “My Convenient Master Wants Me to Manage the Immortal Court? Then I'll Govern It to Greatness”

I am King Father of the East, the revered ruler of the Immortal Court in the Primordial World. But no one knows that I have been reborn after witnessing the Immortal Court's destruction.

In this new life, I know the Immortal Court's destruction is inevitable, so I come up with a plan: take on a disciple, hand him the court to manage, and go into seclusion myself.

Once I become a Sage, I can resolve any crisis. If I fail, I can still use my knowledge of the future to plan ahead and protect myself.

As for my disciple Zhu Yao...

Don't worry. Your master won't abandon you.

My name is Zhu Yao. I'm a transmigrator, and somehow I became King Father of the East's disciple, only to be appointed ruler of the Immortal Court.

I'm a complete mess. Everyone knows the Immortal Court is doomed to fall sooner or later. Isn't this just setting me up?

Luckily, after taking charge of the Immortal Court, I awakened the Governance System.

As long as I complete its governance missions and keep strengthening the Immortal Court, I'll receive a steady stream of rewards.

So I start recruiting troops, repelling external threats, restoring order at home, coordinating the whole picture, and laying plans for the world.

Years later, after I have successfully unified the Immortal Court, ruled the world, and become a Sage, my master finally emerges from seclusion.

And he's become a Sage too?

But the craziest part is, he wants to take me on in a fight against the Heavenly Dao?
