Gardener in the Dark

For me, a fake "Three-Body" fan, after watching the "Three-Body" trilogy in one go, I always felt a sense of loss. I always felt that the final ending was not what I wanted. I didn't want to watch pure and perfect people like Cheng Xin and Yun Tianming, and I didn't want to watch humans create and control the universe. I always felt like they were floating in the air, which was not satisfying at all. I like Ye Wenjie's sober, persevering and ruthless tone in the first part, and I also like Luo Ji's transformation in the second part, where he can both enjoy the moment and endure the humiliation. The bloody and vivid humanity can make people hate him, but also deeply empathize with him, shock him, and trigger endless reveries and thoughts. I was pleasantly surprised when I read this novel. The protagonist Lin Mo is exactly what I like. He is a complex and living person. And where there are people, there are wonderful stories. After reading four chapters in one go, I felt like I was back to the nervous anticipation I felt when watching "The Dark Forest". I really wanted to know what happened next! As an auditor, how does Lin Mo audit the Wallfacers? What role does he play in the Wallfacer plan? How will the plot of this book interact with "The Three-Body Problem"? I hope the author will update it soon and look forward to the follow-up!
