Fate: A Poem of Rebirth and Redemption

Fate fan fiction + ensemble cast + not a power fantasy + no System + no transmigration + no female lead

Full title: Fate/Heaven: A Poem of Rebirth and Redemption

When the Holy Grail’s lies are exposed and the glory of the Heroic Spirits is sullied, only the convictions of ordinary people can rewrite the pages of fate.

In Fuyuki City, the Sixth Holy Grail War quietly begins anew, only eight years after the last. Seven pairs of Masters and Servants, each with their own convictions, become entangled once more on this cursed land.

But the Holy Grail of this world has long been defiled. When every scheme and battle reaches its end, what descends is no all-powerful vessel, but a sorrowful soul bearing the name “All the World’s Evils”: Angra Mainyu.

This is not a story about heroes saving the world. It is a story about one ordinary person, for the sake of another, hurling a spear at death and seeking answers from life, then using themself as kindling in an attempt to set a new dawn alight.

(This work follows the worldbuilding of the UBW route, with some original elements. If you spot any issues with the setting, feel free to point them out. I really will listen ʚ♡⃛ɞ(ू•ᴗ•ू❁). I’ll also write some alternate-route stories later on. Your precious suggestions are the greatest support you can give me.)
