Beyond the Night Chain

Qi Yun was once an obedient chess piece of the system. After tearing off his top hat, he wandered into the countryside carrying a piece of broken copper. In the field, he met Bai He, who mended his memory with lamps and letters, and also met Atu, a child who longed to find his father's name. The three of them used lanterns, letters and songs to quietly mend the erased names and separated daily lives. Facing Luo Han, the symbol of the old order, and its "name-giving" ceremony, they used gentle and uncompromising practices to light up the dim lights at night, allowing the name to be called out again in the darkness.
