With a fire and a sword, the son of a carpenter lost his parents and was exiled from his hometown. A duel, a spear, he earned fake honors, but he was involved in a treacherous situation far beyond his imagination. Fate, the gods, and courage push him forward, farther and farther away from his starting point, with only the linden tree heraldic shield marking his past.
