The land of China 1,800 years ago. The Han Dynasty, which once had a glorious history of four hundred years, is crumbling in corruption and chaos. Xuande, a young man who grew up in Youzhou on the northern border, will eventually grow up to be a young man and plunge into the whirlpool of this troubled world.
