New Earth: Civilization in Reverse Order

Five hundred years ago, human science and technology made an explosive leap. Controlled nuclear fusion and warp speed navigation were implemented one after another. In just a few hundred years, they broke free from the shackles of the earth and established a huge empire across the stars in the galaxy. The price is the complete collapse of the mother planet. In order to support the gluttonous feast of interstellar colonization, the earth's resources were plundered until they were exhausted, the ecosystem completely collapsed, and extreme disasters swept the world, turning it into an "abandoned place" unsuitable for advanced civilizations to live. The empire launched the "Interstellar Evacuation". All the elites and wealthy groups moved to the colonial planets, leaving only the poor and the remnants of small countries, becoming the "left behind" abandoned by civilization. Since then, the earth has been designated as a garbage dump for the universe. According to the "Interstellar Humanitarian Law", garbage dumping is restricted to lowlands below two thousand meters above sea level, accumulating into "garbage deserts" covering the world.
