I often think that if the universe is a breath, we are in its tiniest dust. This dust is the sunlight shining on your palm prints at this moment. It set off from the boiling core 1.5 Billion kilometers away and has been running in nothingness for eight long minutes. And the earth that carries you and me is just an accidental, gentle dust in this torrent of light. This mote of dust has rotated 4.6 Billion times around another more intense mote of dust called the sun. All our stories, glory and darkness, love and war, wisdom and madness, all take place in a layer of water vapor on the surface of this particle of dust that is thinner than a butterfly wing. But in this insignificant thin layer, we looked up and saw the entire sea of ​​stars. What the light of Vega reaches your eyes at this moment is an ancient letter that set off twenty-six years ago; and the faint star points you glimpse now may be an entire galaxy, leaving the last and most magnificent echo in the void after its own extinction. Then I understand that the size of the universe is not its boundless scale, but that all its "bigness" - stars, galaxies, and the long river of time - are gently folded into a grain of dust, a ray of light, and an accidental look up. We are not passers-by living in the vast void, we ourselves are a pair of eyes opened by the universe in order to recognize its own thrilling beauty. On this tiny speck of dust called "home", every life embraces the reflection of the entire starry sky. Perhaps this is the most humble and glorious dignity of existence itself.
