Under the control of Jishihuan City, reality can be rolled back, modified and deleted at will. Kane Locke is the only person who remembers being "erased" after an illicit ritual. His left eye could see traces erased by the system, and in order to survive, he was forced to enter the "Gray Belt Anomaly Observation Station" and became the lowest-level newcomer observer. In this "calibrated" world, Kane is destined to become a loophole in the system - he can see the truth that others cannot, but at what cost? No one knows.
