The Sword Cultivator Senior Sister Follows the Path of Ruthlessness

She was born with a sword bone, but she is mute. Shen Yanshu watched the Demon Lord tear out her heart and murder her mother. From then on, she lost her voice and her feelings, becoming the sect’s sharpest and most silent sword. Until a prophecy came to pass: only she could gather eight tears of true affection and forge the Heart-Slaying Sword to defeat the demons. So she set off with her team of saviors to seek the tears of true affection. The team was an odd mix: her lovesick, sharp-tongued, obsessive junior fellow disciple, Xie Qiyun; her foodie junior sister, Hua Rong; and the healer, Lu Guanyun. Her quest for tears became one massive test of who was fake and who was true. While others collected tears, she gathered proof of the darkness in people’s hearts. Reflected in the tears of true affection, tenderness could be deadly poison, and protection might be a trap. When the most heartfelt confession and the most perfect betrayal came from the same source, she heard the sound of the whole world’s heart breaking in the silence. Later, the Demon Lord broke free, and the apocalypse arrived. The mute girl, Shen Yanshu, slowly opened her eyes amid the ruins. The eight tears returned to their places, and the Sword of Affection was complete. She ran a fingertip along the blade and spoke to the world for the first time, her voice icy to the bone: “My sword will not strike down the living. It will strike only demons.”
