City of Storms
A Life in Seclusion Among the People Bai Juyi, Tang Dynasty The great recluse lives in the imperial court or the city; the lesser recluse retreats to the hills and fields. But the hills and fields are too desolate, while the city is too noisy. Better to be a recluse in between, a low-ranking official left behind in the capital. As if departing, yet still present; neither busy nor idle. No need to exhaust heart or strength, yet free from hunger and cold. No official duties all year round,

My Reading List
I've paid for and read every book on this list, so I'm qualified to review them. My ratings reflect my personal taste, so they'll differ a bit from those of other readers. Take them as a guide, and I especially recommend books rated 3.5 or higher. I've also been reading for over a decade. My main goal this time is to put together a collection, so there will be plenty of books from more than ten years ago. If you don't like them, there's no need to be rude. Let's get along. Here's my rating scale
Steer Clear of Toxic Reads, Focus on What Makes Each Story Special (Especially Fanfiction)
I've been reading on Qidian for twelve years. I don't give books ratings or stars ⭐ because everyone has their own tastes. I focus on what makes each book distinctive. The ones on this list have all found their own niche. Reading lets us immerse ourselves in worlds others have created and feel for their characters and stories. A book that suits your taste is hard to find. I read widely and I'm picky, so I'll collect any interesting books I come across here. I hope you find something you like. I

Prison A is missing
$6,000,000 Want to save a life? Enough to call an ambulance? If this plug-in can't help the protagonist dodge bullets, don't add it. It's useless. As long as you are a carbon-based creature, no matter how strong you are, it is just material.
I'm starting to get off track. I remember this book was originally about an extraordinary city. What now? Inexplicable plot and bland story, does the author not know what the readers like?
Logic is no longer self-consistent
At this stage of the plot of the book, the logic is no longer consistent. There is no way to explain why a superman still plays games with capitalists. If a capitalist becomes a superman, the first thing he will do is to rob all the wealth he can.
Good looking, quick update
It's so good. The author should pay attention to his health and get a good rest. He only needs to code for 16 hours a day. Don't exhaust your body 😌
Isn't it true that the protagonist is not dreaming?
To be honest, I think the protagonist was given a shot of Valium and sold Gundam by his uncle on the first day he arrived. The system behind it felt like a dream, the real American dream... The class jump was too fast.
Since it is a medieval fantasy novel, when will the shameful (pure) succubus, the vampire countess, the useless big D nun, the (potion-transformed) natural disaster witch, and the young girl (30 years old) red dragon appear?

The style brought out
Let me give you a suggestion. The author fell apart very quickly after writing this. He imitated Conan's plot mode, adding a main plot and daily love affairs. The unit drama is an urban fantasy story. Try to find a way to arrange a role for the male protagonist like a mastermind, such as a church or a committee, maybe through a gangster in a clothing store. Line, this allows the male protagonist to get in touch with the people at the bottom and deal with some "supernatural problems" that the people at the bottom view. Of course, the essence is certainly not supernatural, but the male protagonist can use supernatural means to solve it. The main line can be filled with gangs and politics, so that at least it can be achieved smoothly, instead of writing about rugby all day long.
The only book that can travel through North America without breaking the rules. What else are there? I can't figure out the prices.
Hot searches on Weibo are exploding today, the killing lines are all average, there are all kinds of explosions, Liuzi is accurately hunting, in the eyes of white people, female Liuzi is a bitch, and there is also a dedicated dog training master, who is also amazing
