History Through Videos: Rating Emperors from Based to Lame

Xie Xuan transmigrates to a parallel world and becomes a content creator for [Across the Heavens: Hot Takes]. The System’s requirement: review emperors from two thousand years of Chinese history, ranking them from [Based] to [Lame]! Xie Xuan is already a history buff, so without a second thought, he launches straight into a rant… no, a review! What he doesn’t know is that his videos are being broadcast directly onto the sky screens in the palaces of every dynasty. **[Episode One: The Qin Empire, from the Greatest Emperor of All Time to the Lamest of All Time!]** The First Emperor, Ying Zheng, beams with pride. “I united the six states and standardized the written language, axles, and measures. Surely I’ll top the [Based] rankings!” Li Si and Zhao Gao chime in: “Your Majesty is wise. May the Great Qin endure for ten thousand generations!” But in the very next moment, Xie Xuan changes tack. “Zheng-ge was absolutely based, but it’s hard to make up for having a son who’s a total loser! Let’s see how Qin Er Shi, Hu Hai, squandered the Qin Empire’s entire fortune in just three years!” The video plays: the coup at Shaqiu, calling a deer a horse, murdering all his brothers and sisters… The smile on Ying Zheng’s face freezes. Even the Lu Lu Sword in his hand starts to tremble. “Hu Hai! Zhao Gao! Get over here, now!!!” Then, one after another: Liu Bang: “This creator’s alright. Keep roasting them! Wait, why are you calling my wife an [Unmatched Ruthless Woman]?” Li Shimin: “I like being called the military world’s undisputed best, but could you please stop bringing up my meddling with the official records?” As the videos keep coming, emperors from two thousand years of history descend into chaos. To avoid being rated [Lame], they start frantically competing to outdo one another…
