In the Middle Ages, rational philosophy could no longer meet human emotional needs. Traditional religion was too harsh and could not alleviate the suffering of the people. Three civilizations in human history were born at the same time and have influenced today. "Du Chen Ji" uses this as a background to explore the similarities and differences between the three cultures.
