Ayu, a sixteen-year-old science student, encountered the Waterloo of her cooking career when faced with her grandmother's recipe book filled with "appropriate amounts" and "depending on feeling". She was determined to recreate a "pure" Southern Fujian moon-worshiping dish, but she repeatedly created kitchen disasters that were somewhere between biochemical weapons and abstract art. Her childhood friend Ken, a tech geek, came to the rescue with a 3D-printed explosion-proof shield. Her ancestral paper-making shop was also facing the impact of the traditional defense war because of the "Pound Pound Coin" and "Ultraman Mecha" he printed. When Ayu glimpsed the warm history of immigrant mutual aid behind the recipes from her grandmother's "home made with a spoon", when Aken made a paper man "wearing a Tang suit and hugging a football" for a mother who missed her son, they both touched the truth at the same time: The so-called inheritance is not to reproduce perfect old specimens, but to use current understanding to create containers for different thoughts. A "Moonlight Mixing Bowl" with a fusion of flavors, an adventure about memory and innovation.
