Martial Saint's Cultivation Diary

[Today’s Fortune]

[Turn left after leaving home at dawn and walk fifty steps. Pick up three copper coins.]

[Go alone to the Crescent Shoals of Kunze Lake tonight and cast a net. You’ll haul up a corpse and earn a hundred taels of silver.]

[Today’s Martial Arts Goal]

[Master wants roast chicken from Liu’s. I brought him one as a gift, and he was so pleased he pointed out a few flaws in my technique.]

[I strained my back practicing ‘Tiger Rips Out Its Heart’ at noon. Next time, I should use three parts less force.]

[Today’s Goal: Lie Flat]

[After breakfast, with nothing better to do, I wandered down Peach Blossom Alley and accidentally collided with Sister-in-law Wang, who’s good at making the first move. She saw how fit I was and pretended to twist her ankle so I’d walk her home. Then she made me lie...]

“Smack!”

Shen Ling shut the diary. This isn’t the kind of lying flat I wanted!

In short, Shen Ling only has to write down what he wants today, and the diary generates what happens next on its own. Every prediction comes true.

With this ability to know what lies ahead, Shen Ling avoids danger and turns everything around him to his advantage, step by step rising to the exalted rank of Martial Sage.

“People always say, ‘Can what’s written in a diary really be the truth?’”

“This Sage swears every word I write is true.”
